We’re racing towards marriage equality but divorce equality is lagging far behind. When same-sex marriages fail, many couples can’t get divorced because the states they live in – like Pennsylvania – don’t recognize their marriages and therefore won’t divorce them.   It’s a legal conundrum which the recent demise of DOMA does nothing to remedy.  Read more about it in my op-ed this past weekend in the Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/gay-divorce-the-next-frontier/2013/07/05/6e1b9280-e44a-11e2-aef3-339619eab080_story.html
